About Me

I grew up just east of Indianapolis in the rural magnificence of the outskirts of Greenfield. I like using big words, made-up words and big made-up words. I love animals, and am a staunch supporter of rescuing and adopting. Breeders beware, you'll get no love from me. I'm also a supporter of various animal rights causes. Needless to say, I'm a vegetarian. I don't eat fish or chicken, I'm a vegetarian. Look it up.

I am normally writing all kinds of things, whether it be for here or for work. I work at home. So I guess I'm always writing for myself. Two of my dogs, Java and Argos, are normally at my feet when I write. Lily is normally watching me from her post downstairs.

I'm a real person, last time I checked. I have a husband, his name is Shaun. We met in 2001, got married in 2006. I have one tattoo - my wedding date in Roman numerals across my shoulders. More to come, I'm sure.

I love my family and friends, and have been blessed with several. I have a godson as well, a godson I'm sure you will learn about  through various posts, seeing as how he's taught me some absurd life lessons. I call him Bug, I don't think it's safe to tell you his real name, so as far as you're concerned, my best friend actually named her son "Bug." Deal with it.

I had the best childhood ever. Unbelievably exciting and yes, absurd at times. I wouldn't have this blog had my childhood been normal or if I had believable life lessons taught to me.
